As a medical oncologist, Dr. Hirsh is the physician who usually oversees and coordinates the medical care of the cancer patient. He works closely with primary care doctors and with other specialists, such as surgeons and radiation oncologists, whether they are local or at a distant medical center. HEMATOLOGY
As a hematologist, Dr. Hirsh diagnoses and treats a vast array of blood disorders. Our treatments/services include:
- ANEMIAS, such as iron deficiency, pernicious, hemolytic and sickle cell

Our office is attached to CHERRY TREE CANCER CENTER where radiation oncologist Dr. Michael Watson is located. Should you need radiation as well as chemo, all your treatments will be conveniently located under one roof and coordinated easily by Dr. Hirsh and Dr. Watson.
